Talk show at CGTN

On environmental protection

CGTN is the french channel owned by the predominant state broadcaster in China, CCTV. After meeting twice a journalist of the channel, it was decided to present some of my projects through a thirty-minutes long interview as part of the TV program 'Quoi de neuf en Chine?'' The episode aims to question ourselves on how we understand objects and how this awareness may better help us to protect the environment. The three R's – reduce, reuse and recycle – were somehow explained through projects that I have done before coming to China and projects that I have been developing once there. The episode was produced the 9th of May 2019 in a cafeteria in Beijing and then diffused the 12th, seeking to bring the attention of a francophone audience. To me, this media format was a new way to share ideas in front of hundreds of thousands of people and an unusual exercice of instantaneousness, when I am generally used to small-scale promotions and long-term reflections.
