The texture hunter
Poster design | Graphic exploration
Over 2024, I set myself the challenge to create thirty different posters that explore world politics, philosophical concepts and, above all, everyday life issues.

While the messages vary, each composition's background started from a texture encountered – often by chance – during my walks in Wangjing. These were peeling walls, floors, signs, and any decaying urban trace that would inspire me.

I then asked myself: What if these textures could be traced back to their locations? How to reveal a practice where street textures become the source for the creation of visual works?

I designed a map of Wangjing to encourage younger creative minds to adopt such method in their own processes, as it is often through these everyday shapes and experiences that the most original ideas emerge.
